Child protection team provide expertise in evaluating alleged child abuse and neglect, assessing risk and protective factors, and providing recommendations for interventions to protect children and enhance a caregiver's capacity to provide a safer environment when possible. On Children's Day, our school was thrilled to welcome the Child Protection Team, who visited us with a special surprise. To our delight, they gifted us a brand-new cricket kit, sparking excitement and joy among the students. This generous gesture not only promoted the importance of sports and physical activity but also encouraged teamwork and camaraderie among our young learners. We are grateful for their support and look forward to making the most of this wonderful gift.
Blood Donor’s Day was observed on June 4th. A special assembly was held and speeches were given on the importance of blood donation, there by spreading awareness to the students. This special day featured an informative skit that highlighted the different blood groups and their significance in saving lives, along with a dynamic quiz program that tested and expanded knowledge about the vital role of blood donors. The skit creatively depicted the science behind blood groups, emphasizing the need for regular blood donations and how every contribution can make a life-saving difference. The quiz program further enriched the observance, sparking curiosity and encouraging participation as students answered questions related to blood donation facts and history.
Faculties who are experts in taking motivational classes for teachers, conducted effective sessions on the topics. “Teaching Methods for future” and “Secret behind your success”.
Communicative English classes are conducted by Mrs.Jabeena Mam for the teachers. A special guidance class was conducted by CIGI members for improving the performance of teaching and non-teaching staff. The teachers of Higher Secondary section regularly attend cluster meetings and other classes provided by NGO’s.
The CIGI Summer Camp was held at Cordova HSS for 3 days, for the Classes 6,7, 8 & 9, May 2024, offering students an exciting blend of educational activities and recreational fun. The camp was designed to enhance students' skills, promote teamwork, and provide a platform for creative expression in a relaxed and enjoyable environment. It provided students with a valuable opportunity to learn, grow, and have fun during their summer break. The enthusiasm and participation from the students were commendable, and the camp achieved its goal of making learning enjoyable.
